Frequently asked Questions Here are a selection of the most commonly asked questions. Anything not listed, please email me and I will get back to you. Will you turn up? Yes, of course I will. I have never let anyone down in all the years that I have been providing discos. I use Satnav to get to far away venues that I have not been to before and have RAC priority BACKUP in case of any vehicle issues. What will you wear? I will arrive in smart but casual clothing in order to set up the equipment for the event, then change into the appropriate attire as agreed in your contract before the entertainment begins. How far do you travel? Check out the list of counties I cover in the contacts section. How far in advance do I need to book? As soon as possible if you want to book my services. I have bookings in advance of up to 2 years, so please book as soon as possible to secure your chosen date with me. Will I get a written contract from you? Yes. All my bookings are secured for your peace of mind with a formal written contract. The venue I have booked requires certification from the DJ. Do you have this? Yes, I have the 3 main certifications that all venues require. These are PLI (Public Liability Insurance to the value of 10 Million), PAT (Portable Appliance Tested) for electrical safety on all the equipment and a Produb Music Licence for playing out to the public. What kind of music will you play at my party? Every booking I recieve is different and so the music will be unique to that party. Everyone has different personal music tastes and so I always play what the customer wants along with any guests requests in an appropriate manner. This guarantees a fun, successful and memorable evening for everyone invited. For those guests that either don't want to hassle the DJ or are abit shy of asking, I provide song request slips and pens on each table which helps encourage guests to request a song they would love to hear. Will you meet me prior to my event to finalise all details for the evening? Yes. This is part of my personal service to you. Ideally I will meet with you at the your booked venue at your convenience for a face to face discussion, to find out your plans and dreams for the evenings celeberations and to help provide any extra ideas to make your party successful. We will also go over the contract to make sure you are happy with everything. How much do you charge? My charges vary depending on the type of event, location, timings and any specific packages or extra options that you may have chosen. However good or bad your guests are at singing, karaoke always adds that fun element to the night once people are in the mood to show off their singing talent (or not!). A large database of proper karaoke tracks are available to pick from along with a large singers screen and microphones. Why should I book you over another Mobile Disco company? I offer professional disco services for my customers. I am not running this as a parttime hobby, but as a fully insured business and take every booking seriously. If you are looking for a great memorable party with guaranteed results then look no further by getting in contact for a quote. Will you be speaking all night over the music and interrupting the songs? No. I will only announce the important things at your party and to interact with you and your guests to make the evening feel fun and welcoming. I understand that the music speaks for itself and is the most important element of the night, so you won't be getting any radio presenter style chatter or amateurish spiel all evening.
